- House Renovations Complete
The Kappa Delta Rho Alumni Corporation has taken on many projects to help ensure the success of the active Epsilon chapter. The newest of these projects was a major renovation of the current fraternity house located at 740 E. Jefferson St. Franklin. This remodel included replacing the roof, the windows, and the siding. The goal of the remodel was to create a low maintenance, energy efficient, and visually appealing home. The remodel was completed by Gary Murray Construction based out of St. Leon, Indiana.
The roof was replaced with a new Owens Owning fiber glass shingles. There were thirty-seven windows replaced throughout the house. The siding and trim on the house was replaced with Weather Board Fiber Concrete Siding and Trim. During the replacement of the siding, fire damage from the previous owner was discovered and replaced. The siding was painted with Porter Paint Beachstone and the trim was painted a Smokey Chestnut Color.
The alumni corporation feels that the "new" house will have a positive impact on the Epsilon Chapter and Franklin College. Also, we feel that the house will continue to provide many memories for the active members of the Epsilon Chapter at Franklin College.
